The deep husky voice of Lap Dance instructed Rahm to meet him in thirty minutes at again a vacant commercial parking lot not far from his rented home near Washington Dulles Airport. Rahm, this half pint political operative was way in over his head this time. He was known in politics as an aggressive arm twister, meaning he had a lot of dirt on a lot of people and he wasn’t afraid to use it. Exposing gay or greedy congressmen with their hands in the till was a good way of getting his way around town. Along with this kind of information came the usual unsavory customers that gathered his intel. He had known of Stripper but had never worked with him before his head blew up in his face last month. Rahm had assumed that Stripper was a freelance CIA type before that fateful day. He now realized that his sources were now getting greyer and greyer as he asked more difficult questions of the dark side that lurked within the beltway. Now, he was confused, Stripper who he thought was CIA, wasn’t. Stripper is dead now, killed right in front of him and that left him in the middle of a massive mystery involving the Deepwater Horizon sinking by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard operating out of Venezuela. Rahm didn’t know who to trust now. He inherited Lap Dance by default. Lap Dance now had proof of Presidential infidelity while he was in Las Vegas two weeks ago and he could cause big problems for the Administration. Of course Rahm knew of his misstep because the President shared everything with him. The two of them were like floating cesspools with enough political and moral degradation that they could sink a battleship.
Before Stripper was killed he was about to provide evidence that George Soros was instrumental in implementing the sinking that eventually halted all offshore drilling in the Gulf. This was something that Soros profited from by leasing the idle rigs and sending them to Brazil to pump oil for his interests in the Brazilian oil company Petrobras.
Rahm thought, was it possible that Lap Dance killed Stripper? Of course. It was obvious that Stripper had worked for powerful unknown interests that would stop at nothing to have their way. Whatever the answer was to this riddle, he was getting tired of the games and his little Washington arm twisting business was now turning into serious stuff that could very easily get him killed in a very horrible way. He racked his brain trying to decide on what to do with this meeting in now twenty minutes. Should he go alone or should he bring his detail along with him?
Meanwhile back in a lonely White House, the President was wondering if the Clintons were racists for not inviting Oprah and the leader of the free world to Chelsea’s wedding as the 547th day of the Obama Presidency had the whole evening to itself.
